What I perceive in the world is a kaleidoscope of colors, endlessly diffracted by the light on the deep green of forests and the blue of the ocean, vibrations that I try to capture on canvas

I do not paint what is visible; I recompose an image of a felt reality.

Starting with a photo or a low-resolution image, I interpret it. Initially figurative, it becomes abstract, transformed by the elements and the thick application of pure pigments mixed with various mediums.

Gradually, with increasingly fine brushes, an image reemerges as an impression, a stencil of reality.

THE ENERGY OF NATURE, BETWEEN FIGURATION AND ABSTRACTION

Pure pigments and gold or bronze leaves

Each painting is a microcosm in perpetual transformation in the eyes of the viewer. The whole reacts to light.

A state of becoming, unfinished

Yet this space is not synonymous with emptiness or inertness. This "void" is the ever-transforming energy of nature.
